We're looking to urgently hire a Canadian bookkeeper, full time, who wants to be part of a fast-growth, AI-enabled bookkeeping firm. Ironbooks is a tech-forward bookkeeping firm for contractors and home-service businesses. Our AI does the first pass on categorization and reconciliation so our bookkeepers spend their time on judgment, quality and client impact, not data entry. You will own a book of clients and keep their books accurate, current and on schedule.

What you'll do
- Own monthly bookkeeping for your clients in QuickBooks Online: categorization, bank and credit card reconciliations, and month-end close
- Review AI-prepared work, fix exceptions and keep the books clean
- Resolve client questions quickly and clearly, in writing




- Flag issues early and help us improve our process and tools What you bring:
- Hands-on experience as a bookkeeper (QuickBooks Online required)
- Strong attention to detail and ownership of your work
- Comfortable with AI tools and up-to-date software, and excited to work this way
- Clear written communication
