Overview The Vet Assistant supports daily veterinary care by helping the clinical team prepare for appointments, care for animals, and maintain an organized work environment. This hands-on role suits someone who is attentive, compassionate, and comfortable following established procedures while working with animals and colleagues. Responsibilities
- Prepare examination areas and supplies, and help keep workspaces clean and organized.
- Assist the veterinary team during appointments and routine animal care, following instructions and handling animals gently.
- Observe animals and promptly share relevant changes or concerns with the clinical team.
- Maintain accurate records and support laboratory tasks as directed, using careful, consistent practices. Your impact:

Experience Required: Practical communication, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions support protected animal handling, accurate records, and effective teamwork. Preferred: Laboratory experience is an advantage, along with related experience supporting animal care or clinical work and a calm, compassionate approach to animals and their caregivers.
