Tank Traders® is looking for a Production Supervisor in Red Deer, AB Are you a hands-on leader who enjoys working alongside a team, solving problems, and finding ways to improve day-to-day operations? We’re looking for a Production Supervisor to support our Production Manager in keeping our production facility running safely, efficiently, and smoothly. In this role, you’ll be actively involved in daily production while coaching team members, coordinating workloads, monitoring inventory, and helping maintain our quality and safety standards. You’ll work closely with Cell Leaders and other departments to keep operations on track, identify opportunities for improvement, and promote a positive, collaborative work environment. Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM–3:30 PM. Start times may be adjusted seasonally to meet business needs. Rotational Saturdays may be required during peak season. Day in the life:
- Spend 90% of your day hands-on with the Production team, repeatedly lifting and handling 20–40 lb propane tanks.
- Lead morning meetings, coordinate daily production, and keep the team on track.
- Coach and train employees on quality standards, procedures, and safe work practices.
- Monitor production, inventory, and equipment while identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized facility and yard.
- Coordinate truck loading, troubleshoot operational issues, and support Health & Safety initiatives.
- Handle production reporting, scheduling, and other administrative tasks.
- Support the Production Manager and step in when needed. What’s in it for you:

Qualifications:

- Experience in a production, manufacturing, or similar hands-on operational environment is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and train team members in the workplace.
- Valid driver’s license and personal means of transportation to and from our facility
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work with the team, lifting and moving 20-40LBS Propane Tanks
