Our expertise includes Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Structural, Civil, Building Envelope, Energy Modelling, Fire Protection, and other building engineering services. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drafter
- Electrical Engineering to join our engineering team and support the preparation and coordination of electrical design drawings for a variety of building projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare electrical design and construction drawings for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Develop electrical layouts, including lighting, power distribution, receptacle, and equipment connection plans.
- Prepare lighting layouts, switching plans, panel schedules, single-line diagrams, and electrical riser diagrams.
- Assist in preparing electrical drawings for fire alarm, emergency lighting, and other building electrical systems.
- Coordinate electrical drawings with architectural, structural, mechanical, and plumbing disciplines.
- Incorporate engineering markups, design revisions, and consultant/client comments.




- Assist engineers in preparing permit, tender, and Issued for Construction (IFC) drawing packages.
- Ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Maintain drawing standards, revisions, and project documentation. Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering Technology, CAD Drafting, or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years of experience in electrical drafting or building electrical design preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Knowledge of building electrical systems, lighting, power distribution, and electrical layouts.
- Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and applicable BC regulations is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
