Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to kickstart their career in the automotive industry. The Apprentice Automotive Technician will work under the guidance of experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance while developing essential skills in a fast-paced environment. Requirements:
Responsibilities
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues using automotive schematics and manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Support senior technicians with more complex repairs, including heavy lifting as required.
- Learn and apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot various automotive systems.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills, including welding techniques when applicable. Qualifications
- Basic understanding of automotive repair principles and practices is preferred.




- Familiarity with automotive schematics and ability to read technical documents is a plus.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely in a workshop workplace.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a willingness to learn from experienced technicians.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties.
- Previous experience in a dealership setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
