Licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic needed for school bus maintenance, diesel diagnostics, and safety inspections on a Monday-Friday day shift.

As a Heavy Duty Mechanic with First Student, you will maintain and repair school buses for safe, reliable passenger transportation. The position requires vehicle diagnostic skills, repair experience, and accurate documentation. You will perform preventive maintenance and support emergency repairs when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain vehicles and ensure passenger safety
- Diagnose brakes, engines, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions
- Perform preventive, safety, and annual maintenance inspections
- Complete work orders accurately
- Assist with mobile emergency repairs when needed

Requirements:

- Mechanic license and diesel or automotive repair experience
- Equivalent technical school education and experience accepted
- Vehicle diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and mechanic's tool set
- Solid computer skills and ASE participation willingness
