Support Hamilton employees with Windows devices, Microsoft 365 applications, and endpoint troubleshooting as an End User Device Technician. Deliver first and second-level assistance.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Service Desk, this technician supports desktop computers, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, peripherals, and productivity applications. The work keeps technology reliable and secure for City employees. Duties include deployment, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, lifecycle management, and onboarding or offboarding support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide first and second-level technical support to City employees
- Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows end-user devices
- Respond to incidents and service requests through IT Service Management
- Support onboarding, offboarding, equipment collection,



and inventory updates
- Apply updates, patches, encryption, antivirus, and compliance configurations

Requirements:

- College diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience supporting desktop, laptop, mobile, operating system, and peripheral technologies
- Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365 applications
- Robust troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Valid Class G Driver’s Licence required
