The Corporate Safety Specialist supports protected, healthy, and resilient environments for employees, visitors, and the community. You will partner with leaders and frontline employees, lead investigations, inspections, and audits, and deliver safety training. The work supports recreation services, parks operations, and community programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with departments to create safe, healthy environments
- Identify risks and recommend practical safety solutions
- Lead investigations, inspections, and safety audits




- Develop and deliver safety awareness training programs
- Support emergency management and business continuity efforts

Requirements:

- Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
- Five-plus years with Health and Safety systems
- Experience with Emergency Management systems
- Knowledge of Alberta Occupational Health and Safety legislation
- Valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license with clean record
