Registered Practical Nurse needed at Niagara Health’s Welland Site, applying physical assessment and enhanced nursing skills in temporary full-time care.

This Registered Practical Nurse assignment serves the Medical/Surgical Combined department on the fourth floor. You will provide safe, competent, patient/client-centred care while collaborating within a total patient care model. Current medication administration experience and IV therapy proficiency are required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide secure, competent patient/client-centred nursing care
- Apply nursing knowledge, technical skills, and professional standards
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
- Document accurately according to best-practice guidelines and CNO standards




- Facilitate patient discharges and support education

Requirements:

- Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
- One year working full scope as a Registered Practical Nurse
- Current BCLS certification and recent medication administration experience
- Proficiency with IV therapy initiation and IV pumps
- Knowledge of CVADs, CADD pumps, VAC therapy, and enteral feeds
