Support Light Armoured Vehicle production through mechanical assembly, repairs, and retrofits at General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada. Swing shift availability is required.

As a Mechanical General Assembler, you will install vehicle components and connect electrical systems according to detailed instructions. This 12-month salaried fixed term contract may become permanent, and requires careful workmanship, physical capability, and collaboration with team members and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assemble steering assemblies, axles, suspension systems, and related components
- Route and secure electrical wiring according to schematics
- Use torque wrenches, impact guns, and specialized fasteners
- Conduct Light Armoured Vehicle repairs, modifications,



and retrofits
- Provide time reporting and project status information

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED required
- One to three years of relevant experience
- Technical or vocational mechanics training is an asset
- Ability to work in confined spaces and lift objects
- Strong interpersonal skills with team members and supervisors
