We're looking for an experienced Construction Manager I who is ready to lead from the front, support field teams, and keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule. As our Construction Manager I, youlllead day-to-day construction activities, help drive project schedules, mentor and support field employees, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver successful projects. Applies the requirements of the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to promote overall compliance of AFL HS&E; standards, applicable OH&S; Acts, regulations and codes with all employees and subcontractors on the project Ensures project materials are supplied, and work is completed in compliance with the Project Quality Program Ensures that projects are built according to approved plans and specifications Develops,



maintains and drives the construction schedule in conjunction with project team; ensures project milestones and completion dates are met Supervises field employees; Mentors project team members in order to contribute to their development and growth opportunities Leads project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and support the projects ongoing progression Maintains a thorough daily report that accurately tracks site progress, events, inspections and other relevant information Adhere to and promote the environmental, health & safety policies of AFL 2+ years of construction experience as a Construction Manager or similar direct supervisory role. Experience with Outside Plant construction or other telecommunications construction projects is preferred. Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental protection practices and procedures as they apply to common construction processes Expert knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Visio Ability to travel to various site-based projects if required Personal Qualities: Flexible – open to change/new information and rapidly adapts to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles Independent
- ability to work well under limited supervision Analytical Thinking/Problem Solving
- capable of complex reasoning analysis Interpersonal skills – able to collaborate on projects, maintain effective relationships,
