Responsibilities
- Assist experienced technicians with garage door installations and repairs
- Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and garage door materials
- Help install garage doors, openers, tracks, springs, cables, and related components
- Measure and prepare work areas
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
- Follow instructions and safety procedures
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers
- Perform other general labour duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous construction, mechanical, or general labour experience is an asset but not required
- Willingness to learn and develop current skills
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry materials
- Comfortable working on ladders and at heights
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license is an asset
