THE OPPORTUNITY

The Business Systems Integrator is responsible for designing, administering, integrating, securing, supporting, and continuously improving TRG's SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and business application environment. The role's primary focus is SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365, including the company intranet, department sites, information architecture, permissions, platform administration, adoption, and end-user training. The role also administers and supports ERP, HubSpot, internal applications, and system integrations, working directly with business stakeholders to understand needs, workflows, and pain points and translate them into practical, supportable technology solutions. In addition, the Integrator supports cybersecurity, identity, and access controls across Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, endpoint and data protection, security monitoring, vulnerability follow-up, and cybersecurity awareness. Strong documentation and governance are expected across all supported platforms. The position reports to the IT Manager, has no direct reports, works closely with business users, development resources, vendors/MSPs, and security partners, and may participate in after-hours support for urgent cybersecurity or critical system issues.

KEY RESPONSBILITIES

SharePoint & Microsoft 365 (40%)

- Design, build, configure, publish, and maintain the company intranet and department SharePoint sites, including information architecture, hub/site structure, modern pages, navigation, web parts, libraries, lists, metadata, views, search, and content lifecycle standards.
- Administer standard Microsoft 365 services including Teams, Microsoft 365 groups, licensing, user provisioning, selected Exchange Online settings, SharePoint permissions, and routine service health and platform administration.
- Coordinate SharePoint content migration, testing, launch, ownership, governance, access administration, adoption, support, and ongoing optimization with department owners and business users.
- Develop and deliver SharePoint/Microsoft 365 end-user training, department-owner training, user guides, adoption support, and knowledge transfer so business teams can effectively use and maintain the solutions.

Systems, Applications, Integration & Process Improvement (30%)

- Administer and support ERP, HubSpot, internal applications, and other assigned business systems, including standard configuration, user access, troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and recurring issue resolution.
- Work directly with business stakeholders to understand system needs, pain points, workflows, priorities, desired outcomes, acceptance criteria, data/security considerations, dependencies, and support requirements, and translate them into practical technology and process improvements.
- Coordinate application integrations, data flows, dependencies, vendors/developers, testing, and practical automation using Power Automate, PowerShell, APIs, or other approved tools where appropriate.
- Coordinate UAT, business validation, release readiness, communications and training, rollout, post-production support, adoption feedback, defects, and corrective actions so changes are usable, supportable, and aligned with business needs.

Cybersecurity, Identity & Access Control (20%)

- Support and administer approved security controls across Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, identity risk, privileged roles, guest/external access, Intune security/device compliance, Microsoft Defender, Purview/DLP, and related Microsoft 365 security capabilities.
- Perform first-line security monitoring, alert review, triage and investigation, incident support and escalation, security hardening, and follow-up on recurring or high-risk events using established playbooks and change controls.
- Support vulnerability scanning and remediation tracking, privileged and major access reviews, Zero Trust implementation, cybersecurity roadmap activities, risk/gap tracking, and coordination with vendors, MSPs, and security partners.
- Support and deliver cybersecurity awareness and end-user training, including phishing awareness, secure technology practices, security policy education, security communications, and reporting on participation or risk trends.

Documentation & Governance (10%)

- Maintain current system and site inventories, ownership and permission records, configuration notes, change records, SOPs, runbooks, support procedures, decision logs, architecture/system documentation, and operational handover materials.
- Maintain practical governance standards for SharePoint, Microsoft 365, business applications, integrations, cybersecurity, and identity/access, including ownership, access, sharing, change, privacy, records, security, and support requirements.
- Ensure major changes and exceptions have appropriate approvals, testing evidence, documentation, support ownership, operational handover, and escalation to the appropriate owner before closure.
- Perform periodic documentation and governance reviews, identify outdated or missing records and control gaps, and track corrective actions with transparent owners, priorities, and target dates.
