Design durable industrial structures for Dennis Group food plants through structural modeling, load documentation, and construction coordination. Project-site travel is required as needed. This Structural Engineer II role supports design and permitting for recent processing facilities and existing-facility alterations. You will evaluate strength, stability, and stresses across steel, concrete, foundation, façade, and lateral systems. Assignments include team-based complex work and independent simpler projects.

Key Responsibilities
Document gravity, wind, and seismic design loads Lay out preliminary column grids and estimate member sizes Design mat slabs, pipe bridges, and foundation systems Review geotechnical reports and existing structures Prepare drawings, specifications, budgets, and subconsultant requests

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Four to seven years performing structural design calculations Four to seven years drafting structural documents AutoCAD and Revit experience required RAM Structural System or RAM Elements knowledge preferred Bring structural design, load evaluation, drafting, and coordination experience to industrial food facility projects at Dennis Group.
