About Us
BrydonGama is a Toronto-based recruiting and staffing firm, connecting organizations with high-caliber technology, business, and health services talent. We are recruiting this role on behalf of an established non-profit human services organization serving children, youth, adults, and families across New Brunswick.
The Role
Our client is a well-established non-profit organization delivering a broad continuum of behavioural health and family support services across Atlantic Canada. Their work is deeply rooted in community partnering with schools, healthcare providers, government departments, and family service agencies to support individuals and families at every stage of life.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for a Director of Behavioural Health Services — a seat on the organization's Senior Leadership Team, with full accountability for the strategic, clinical, and operational direction of the Behavioural Health Services department. The Director will lead a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and behavioural health professionals, drive program development, and serve as the organization's champion for evidence-informed, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care.
This is the right role for someone who has spent their career building and leading clinical service environments, who understands the complexity of serving vulnerable populations, and who is ready to shape what an integrated behavioural health system looks like at a provincial scale.

· Provide oversight and consultation on complex clinical situations, crisis stabilization, risk assessment, and service planning
· Support the integration of evidence-based approaches including ABA, CBT, DBT, EMDR, NMT, SMART, Mindfulness, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Integrative Attachment Family Therapy
Operational Leadership
· Oversee day-to-day operations of the department; develop operational plans aligned to strategic objectives
· Establish and monitor KPIs, quality measures, and outcome metrics
· Manage departmental budgets, contracts, and resources responsibly
· Ensure compliance with organizational policies, funding agreements, and legislative requirements
Team Leadership and Development
· Lead, mentor, and support managers, clinicians, and behavioural health professionals across the department
