Our client, a growing provider of critical power and data centre infrastructure solutions, is seeking an Application Engineer to support its expansion in Greater Vancouver.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate, EIT or junior engineering professional looking to develop technical expertise while working closely with customers and sales teams.

You will receive specialized training and contribute to technical solutions involving power systems, UPS equipment, cooling, racks and monitoring technologies.

Full time. Permanent position.

Responsibilities

- Assess customer needs and recommend solutions.
- Provide technical support to the sales team.
- Prepare quotes, proposals and technical specifications.
- Develop bills of materials and technical documentation.
- Interpret electrical, mechanical and architectural drawings.
- Attend customer meetings, site visits and presentations.
- Create layouts, 3D renderings and virtual walkthroughs.
- Coordinate with internal teams and manufacturing partners.
- Maintain customer records and project files.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or a related field (Electrical preferred).
- EIT or P.Eng.



registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC, or eligibility to register.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, critical power and data centre infrastructure.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and AutoCAD.
- Experience with SketchUp, SolidWorks or Revit is an asset.
- Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Valid driver's licence and availability for occasional travel.
