Job Summary

Join our vibrant team as an Onigiri Maker, where you will bring Japanese culinary tradition to life by crafting delicious, authentic onigiri (rice balls) that delight our customers. Duties

- Prepare fresh onigiri using traditional techniques and high-quality ingredients
- Handle food with care, adhering to strict sanitation and food safety protocols
- Manage POS transactions efficiently using Micros POS systems for customer orders and payments
- Assist customers with menu selections, upselling options to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food prep area and storage spaces
- Ensure timely food preparation to meet customer demand during busy hours
- Support cashiering duties including cash handling,



accurate math calculations, and transaction processing

Requirements

- Prior experience in food preparation or the food industry preferred, especially in restaurant or sushi settings
- Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle food safely, including proper sanitation and food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Experience in serving or cashiering roles within restaurants or food service establishments is desirable
- Kitchen experience with familiarity in food safety standards and sanitation practices

Pay: $16.10-$19.00 per hour
