Summary

As a Bakery Assistant/Doughnuteer, you will be an essential part of our team, responsible for food preparation, baking, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Your role will focus on delivering high-quality baked goods. With core skills in food handling and kitchen experience, you will assist in creating delicious treats and maintaining a clean workspace. Your attention to detail and passion for baking will help elevate our bakery's offerings, making you a key player to our success in the food industry.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Must be able to follow established recipes
- Maintain product displays and to follow rules of FIFO (First in and First out)
- Prepare doughs and batters
- Decorate/finish pastries and baked goods
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Must be able to follow direction
- Must be able to understand all concepts of food safety and rotation
- Maintain a clean work workplace environment

Qualifications and Requirements

- Must have valid Food Safe certificate
- High School Graduate
- Bakery experience an asset but willing to train the right candidate
- Must have an eye for attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently




- Applicant should be comfortable and prepared to work with commercial/industrial mixers, ovens, fryers as well as high output tortilla maker
- Frequent work in freezer/cooler
- Different positions in the bakery will require varying start and finish times. including overnight shifts.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
