Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Red Seal Journeyman Plumber to join our team. This professional will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of plumbing codes, schematics, and construction practices, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and quality expectations. Duties

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute plumbing layouts accurately
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment necessary for plumbing installations or repairs
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools safely and effectively
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing work within larger building projects
- Troubleshoot issues using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills to identify root causes of plumbing failures




- Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Assist in the assembly of piping systems and related components as needed

Skills

- Proven experience as a licensed Red Seal Journeyman Plumber with comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems
- Robust mechanical knowledge
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings for accurate installation and repair work
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various working environments
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical data
- Knowledge of schematics and assembly procedures relevant to plumbing systems

This position requires a dedicated professional committed to quality workmanship and safety standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate technical expertise across multiple disciplines related to plumbing installation and maintenance.

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Red Seal Journeyman plumbing certificate (required)
