CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE Under the supervision of the Customer Service Supervisor, this position is responsible for interacting with customers through telephone, electronically or face to face; Performance of other related duties as required. SUPERVISION RECEIVED General supervision. Process orders and change-orders received from customers and Sales Representatives, set-up sales order, payers, and essential data in SAP for initial order. Take phone orders in a prompt and courteous manner. Perform dispatch duties and serve as back-up Dispatcher as required. Provide marketing support for samples, catalogs and information requests. Maintain marketing inventory Works with Outside Sales Teams to coordinate customer requests and to help provide superior customer service.



Participate in semi-annual inventory counts. All other office duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representatives. Abide by all safety rules set forth by the company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected. Two years customer service experience preferred, experience in the concrete block, pavers and/or sack industry are preferred. Marketing skills an asset. Must have strong computer skills, especially in Excel, Word and Outlook. SAP experience an asset. Strong aptitude for organizing personal tasks and repetitive duties in a dynamic setting. Demonstrated commitment to consistently delivering the highest quality customer service. Working knowledge of office environment with experience using multi-line phone system, personal computer, printer, calculator, copier, and facsimile machine. Requires good reading, writing and mathematical skills. Office environment with moderate noise. Indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
