Job Overview

The Carpenter builds, installs, repairs, and restores structures and interior or exterior finishes. This hands-on role uses woodworking skills and construction tools to complete projects safely, accurately, and in line with plans and site needs.

Duties

- Read blueprints and schematics, measure materials, and prepare work areas for construction or restoration.
- Build and install wood components, siding, drywall, and concrete forms; perform concrete finishing as needed.
- Select and use hand tools and power tools, assist with heavy equipment operation, and handle required heavy lifting.
- Coordinate work with site colleagues to keep tasks organized and support quality project completion.

Skills

Required: Practical carpentry and woodworking capabilities, blueprint reading, protected use of hand and power tools, and the ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting. Preferred: Construction experience and familiarity with concrete forming and finishing, drywall, siding, restoration, schematics, heavy equipment operation, or welding can support a wider range of project work.

Pay: $19.00-$27.00 per hour
