Position Title: Traveling Merchandising Team Member

Work Location: Multiple Store Locations – Travel Required (Regina based when not traveling)

We are looking for a hardworking, dependable, and motivated Traveling Merchandising Team Member who takes pride in maintaining organized, visually appealing, and sales-driven retail stores.

This is a hands-on position requiring physical work, frequent travel, flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to complete assignments efficiently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities1. Merchandising & Store Presentation

- Travel to assigned Uncle Wiener's Wholesale locations to perform merchandising duties.
- Stock, replenish, organize, label, and display merchandise according to company guidelines.
- Create attractive and effective product displays that maximize selling opportunities.
- Maintain properly organized shelves, promotional displays, and product sections.
- Ensure products are correctly priced, clearly labeled, and accessible to customers.
- Identify and correct merchandising inconsistencies.
- Maintain cleanliness and professional presentation throughout the selling floor.

2. Store Setup, Reorganization & Special Projects

- Assist with store setups, merchandise rearrangements, seasonal transitions, and promotional displays.
- Execute store layout changes and merchandising improvements as directed by management.
- Maximize available selling space through effective product placement.
- Assist with moving shelving, fixtures, and merchandise as required.
- Support new store openings, renovations, and store improvement projects.
- Complete assigned merchandising projects within established deadlines.
- Follow approved plans and obtain authorization before making major layout changes.

Inventory & Product Handling

- Receive, unpack, sort, and prepare merchandise for display.
- Replenish selling-floor merchandise from available warehouse inventory.
- Identify damaged, missing, incorrectly priced, or misplaced products.
- Report inventory discrepancies immediately to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with stock transfers, inventory counts, and product organization when required.
- Follow company procedures for merchandise handling and loss prevention.

4. Travel & Multi-Location Support

- Travel to different store locations based on company operational requirements.
- Be available for out-of-town assignments for an extended period of time when required.
- Adjust to changing schedules, priorities, and store conditions.
- Work effectively with different store managers and teams.
- Maintain productivity and professionalism regardless of assigned location.
- Follow company travel, accommodation, expense, and vehicle-use policies.

5. Customer Service & Sales Support

- Provide friendly, professional, and helpful customer service.
- Assist customers with locating merchandise and answering basic product questions.
- Recognize opportunities to improve product visibility and selling potential.
- Support store associates during busy periods when requested.
- Maintain customer-friendly aisles, displays, and shopping areas.
- Represent Uncle Wiener's Wholesale positively at every location.

6. Communication, Teamwork & Accountability

- Follow instructions from the Merchandising Manager.
- Coordinate with store managers before starting major merchandising assignments.
- Communicate concerns, delays, and challenges promptly.
- Ask for clarification when instructions are unclear rather than making unauthorized changes.




- Provide progress updates and before-and-after photos when required.
- Take responsibility for assigned tasks and ensure proper completion.
- Demonstrate respect, cooperation, and professionalism toward all team members.

7. Workplace Safety & Company Standards

- Follow Uncle Wiener's Wholesale policies, procedures, and Employee Handbook.
- Maintain secure, clean, and organized working areas.
- Follow proper lifting, material handling, and equipment safety procedures.
- Operate ladders, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment only when properly trained and authorized.
- Report unsafe conditions, damaged fixtures, and potential hazards immediately.
- Follow established loss prevention procedures and protect company merchandise and equipment.

The Successful Candidate

We are looking for a team member who demonstrates a strong work ethic, takes initiative, and is committed to achieving results.

More Specifically:

- Minimum 6 months of retail, warehouse, or customer service experience preferred.
- Previous merchandising, product display, or store setup experience is an asset.
- Must be willing and available to travel frequently or for an extended period of time when required.
- Valid driver's licence and acceptable driving record required when driving is an essential part of the assignment.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing more than 30 pounds, with appropriate assistance or equipment as required.
- Ability to use ladders and step stools safely.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use mobile reporting tools.
- Good communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends when required.
- Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
- Must have a Forklift experience.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
