The Mechanical Designer challenge in a few words Following up with internal technical leaders, managers and other disciplines designers; Prepare the detailed specifications of the design of mechanical assemblies, describe and justify the technical choices through simulations, calculations and test models; Produce 3D models, fabrication and assembly drawings as well as corresponding BOMs; Take into account constraints such as strength of materials, thermal dissipation, manufacturability,



maintainability and testability; Build and test prototypes when needed; Support qualification tests; Support the integration of hardware and software; Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or an equivalent field. Technical Experience ~2 to 5 years of experience in the design of mechanical and/or automated applications. ~ Strong proficiency with SolidWorks 3D. Assets Experience with simulation using SolidWorks Simulation. Experience designing systems related to analog and/or digital electronics. Knowledge of SolidWorks Electrical. Comfort working in a dynamic environment with multiple concurrent projects. Recognized as an productive, collaborative professional who helps drive projects forward.
