Our client, a well-established and highly regarded full-service law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join its Vancouver office and support a busy Bankruptcy & Insolvency practice. This is an excellent chance for a confident and detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced litigation workplace and takes pride in providing high-quality support to lawyers and clients. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to lawyers within the firm's Bankruptcy & Insolvency group. Draft, edit, proofread, and format legal correspondence, pleadings, affidavits, court forms, and other legal documents. Assist with hearing and trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, materials, and litigation briefs. Coordinate lawyer calendars, meetings, hearings, and appointments while monitoring important deadlines. Assist with billing, accounts follow-up, and other administrative functions as required.



Maintain organized and accurate digital filing systems and ensure documents are appropriately managed and accessible. Provide general administrative and practice support to the litigation team as needed. Completion of a recognized Legal Administrative Assistant program or equivalent experience. ~5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant in a BC litigation practice. ~ Strong knowledge of BC Supreme Court Civil Rules, court procedures, and litigation processes. ~ Strong proofreading, spelling, grammar, and document formatting skills. ~ Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and legal document management systems. ~ Our client offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, along with the opportunity to join an established and professional legal team. #
