ABOUT THE ROLE

Sturgeon Creek II Retirement Residence is seeking a casual Certified Health Care Aide (HCA) to join our team!

As a Health Care Aide, your primary responsibility in the Resident Care department will be to provide personal care and services to each resident, supporting their well-being while respecting their dignity and individuality.

Employment Terms: Casual, 16–24 hours per week.
Schedule: Days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and services to residents according to their individual needs and care plans.
- Support residents with daily living activities while promoting their comfort and independence.
- Work cooperatively with the Resident Care team to provide attentive and respectful care.

Qualifications

- Current Health Care Aide (HCA) certificate.
- Genuine interest in and concern for seniors.
- Experience in a retirement residence or long-term care setting is desirable.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Ability to learn and apply basic life skills through on-the-job training.
- Availability to work days,



evenings, nights, and weekends.
