Primary Responsibilities:

- Read and Interpret Drawings: Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, measurements, and fabrication specifications.
- Jig Creation: Ability to design and fabricate jigs and fixtures to improve workflow, ensure consistency, and increase production efficiency.
- Crane Rigging: Knowledge of safe crane rigging practices for lifting and positioning materials and components.
- Tool Proficiency: Ability to use the necessary welding, fabrication, and assembly tools safely and effectively.
- Welding and Fabrication: Experience welding and fitting metal components to meet production requirements and quality standards.
- Galvanized Steel Preparation and Welding: Ability to properly prepare galvanized steel for welding, including appropriate removal of zinc coating in the weld area, and safely weld galvanized materials while following required safety procedures and ventilation practices.
- Safety and Quality: Follow all company safety procedures, use appropriate personal protective equipment, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Required Skills:





- Some experience in Welding/Fitting using various welding and cutting equipment
- Ability to read and interpret equipment and fabrication drawings
- Safety oriented, observing proper lifting techniques and safe use of all equipment
- Able to work well under pressure while striving to meet commitments to clients
- High attention to detail in all areas of work with an ability to communicate both in writing and verbally

Required Personal Equipment

The successful candidate must supply their own personal welding equipment, including:

- Personal welding helmet
- Welding jacket
- Welding pants

Working Conditions:

- Work is performed in a manufacturing warehouse setting, with exposure to moving machinery, noise, and temperature variations.
- Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots may be required.
- May involve overtime, and occasional weekend hours to support production schedules.
