Overview

The Truck Driver - Class 1 transports freight safely and reliably, supporting timely deliveries and smooth day-to-day operations. This role involves vehicle operation, freight handling, and coordination with colleagues to keep shipments moving.

Responsibilities

- Operate a truck on assigned routes and transport freight with care, following applicable road and workplace safety practices.
- Inspect the vehicle before and after trips, report concerns, and perform basic automotive repair or maintenance tasks as appropriate.
- Load, unload, and secure freight; use a forklift or other heavy equipment when needed and appropriate.
- Communicate delivery updates, document shipment details, and coordinate with colleagues to address delays or handling issues.

Practical commercial driving capability, safe freight handling, attention to detail, and transparent communication are important for completing deliveries and reporting vehicle or shipment concerns. Preferred: Experience with forklift operation, heavy equipment, or automotive repair is valuable and can support efficient loading, equipment use, and basic vehicle upkeep. Your impact: Careful transport and timely updates help colleagues coordinate deliveries and customers receive their freight reliably.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
