We are seeking a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), new licensed graduates to join our team to provide professional, client-centered massage therapy in a welcoming and respectful environment. The successful candidate will assess client needs, deliver appropriate treatments within their scope of practice, and help clients feel informed and comfortable throughout their visits.
Responsibilities
- Conduct client intake and review relevant health history before treatment.
- Assess client needs and develop treatment plans appropriate to their goals and circumstances.
- Provide massage therapy treatments in accordance with qualified standards and applicable regulations.
- Explain treatment options, session expectations, and aftercare recommendations clearly.
- Maintain accurate, confidential client records, including treatment notes and updates.
- Prepare and maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment space.
- Deliver attentive customer service and communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Use medical terminology appropriately when documenting care and discussing relevant health information.
Requirements
- Current registration or licensure as an RMT in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Completion of an accredited massage therapy education program.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen carefully and explain information in clear, accessible language.
- Knowledge of anatomy, contraindications, treatment planning, and professional boundaries.
- Familiarity with client documentation, confidentiality, and infection-prevention practices.
- A professional, compassionate approach and commitment to client comfort and safety.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage appointments and records with attention to detail.
