Job Summary

The Experienced Red Seal Automotive Mechanic performs automotive repair and maintenance, using mechanical knowledge and sound judgment to help keep vehicles safe, reliable, and ready for use. The role combines hands-on diagnostics, repair, assembly, and clear communication with customers and colleagues.

Duties

- Inspect vehicles, interpret schematics, identify faults, and complete automotive repairs and scheduled maintenance.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to remove, repair, and assemble vehicle components; perform welding where needed.
- Carry out physical tasks, including heavy lifting, while maintaining an organized and secure work area.
- Explain repair findings and work completed to customers, and coordinate with colleagues to support timely service.

Experience

Required: Practical mechanical knowledge, confidence using hand tools and power tools, and the ability to perform automotive repair, maintenance, and assembly tasks safely. Clear communication and customer service skills support effective explanations and teamwork. Preferred: Mechanic experience, dealership experience, familiarity with schematics, welding skills, and experience with heavy lifting are valuable strengths for this role.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
