Production Line Worker – Meat Processing FacilityJob Summary

As a Production Line Worker, you will play an important role in the daily operations of a busy meat processing facility. You will support production by handling, preparing, packaging, labeling, and inspecting meat products while helping maintain a smooth and efficient production line.

This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting. We welcome candidates with previous manufacturing or food production experience, as well as individuals who are willing to learn!

Duties & Responsibilities

- Assist with processing, preparing, sorting, weighing, and packaging meat products.
- Operate production equipment and packaging machinery following proper instructions and safety procedures.
- Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and proper packaging.
- Label, seal, organize, and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Move and handle materials and products throughout the production area.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation while following food safety and sanitation standards.
- Follow production instructions, workplace safety guidelines, and hygiene requirements.




- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets and maintain an efficient workflow.
- Report equipment issues, product concerns, or safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor.

Experience & Qualifications

Required:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- ability to work in a cold environment
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in a meat processing environment, including handling beef and pork.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred:

- Previous experience in food processing, meat production, packaging, manufacturing, or general labour.
- Familiarity with production equipment and machinery.
- Experience with quality control, product inspection, or material handling.
- Understanding of workplace safety and food hygiene practices.

No previous meat processing experience is required. Training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Pay: $21.24-$22.24 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
