Essential requirements

You must be a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists or a Registered Social Worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers, with interest in or experience working with children and/or couples. Experience working with children and/or couples is a strong plus.

Job description

As a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists or a Registered Social Worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers:

· You will provide counselling services to children, adolescents, families, and/or couples. You do not need to work with all populations but must serve one of the groups listed.

· You will provide in-person or telepsychology (telehealth) counselling services, to clients assigned to you based on your knowledge, skills, training, qualifications, and expertise.

· You will be responsible for the following, as necessary and required:

- Treatment planning, including establishing goals and outcomes, evaluating client needs, and/or conducting client assessments.
- Service preparation, including but not limited to providing client resources, conducting research, or direct billing on behalf of clients.
- Case management, including scheduling sessions, and responding to client requests via email and phone.
- File management, including record keeping/progress notes, invoicing and billing.
- Case consultation and supervision.





· You must comply with the Health Professions Act and the standards of practice, practice guidelines and code of ethics of the College of Alberta Psychologists and/or the Alberta College of Social Workers.
