Lead Power Platform Solutions Engineer

Manulife is hiring for an existing vacancy. This role leads business engagement and promotes adoption of the Power Platform using Microsoft best practices and security standards. It also guides teams in defining and designing business AI agents with Copilot Studio.

Work arrangement: Fully remote in Canada or the United States.

Responsibilities

- Train global teams on Power Platform development and security best practices through workshops tailored to Manulife and the audience's technical level.
- Advise architects and developers on Power Platform architecture for business projects; review designs, objectives and technologies, and recommend changes aligned with platform principles.
- Work with business segments and enterprise architects to create repeatable patterns for common integrations and configurations.
- Contribute to Enterprise Technology Services Power Platform team projects, supporting a capable, well-governed and compliant service.

Required qualifications

- At least 10 years of experience as a cloud developer.
- Five years of pro-code development experience with Power Platform or Dynamics 365.




- Five years of experience as a Power Platform or Dynamics solutions architect or lead engineer.
- Two years of experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub and Power Platform CLI.
- Experience assessing business and security requirements for Power Platform solutions across multiple projects.
- Expert knowledge of Dataverse and Dataverse security, Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), and Power Automate cloud and desktop flows.
- Knowledge of Power Pages, Copilot Studio, Akamai and Power BI (Fabric).
- Experience with Azure services including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, SQL, Data Lake, Service Bus and Application Insights.
- Experience designing and developing multiple Dynamics apps in one environment using shared core entities and data.
- Experience with Power Platform administration, including environments, capacity, licensing and custom tooling.

Preferred qualifications

- Power Platform developer or architect certifications.
- Experience in large, complex environments.

Compensation

The posted Canadian salary range is $113,260-$210,340 CAD. Actual compensation varies based on location and role-related factors. Incentive programs and benefits may also be available to eligible employees.
