Job Overview

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at our liquor store. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle cash and debit/credit transactions accurately, and help maintain a clean and organized store.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Operate the cash register and process cash, debit, and credit card transactions.
- Verify customers' identification and ensure they meet the legal drinking age requirements.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and recommendations.
- Stock shelves, organize products, and maintain store displays.
- Keep the store clean, tidy, and organized.
- Monitor inventory and report low-stock items to management.
- Follow all store policies and applicable liquor sales regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.

Requirements





- Previous cashier or retail experience is an asset.
- Robust customer service and communication skills.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Honest, dependable, punctual, and responsible.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Must meet the applicable minimum age requirement for liquor retail employment.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
