About Us

We’re a small, non-union concrete company working on footings, foundations, slabs, flatwork, and decorative concrete. Our jobs are mostly residential and commercial. We value reliability, hard work, and teamwork.

Most of our work runs from spring to late fall. Depending on the weather, there may be a break from late December to early/mid-March. Good workers are always called back first when the season starts again.

We also offer advantages after 3 months for employees who stay with us.

Who We’re Looking For

We need reliable, hard-working people who can do physical labour and, for those with experience, concrete finishing. You’ll be part of a small crew and will be expected to help with:

- Site prep and cleanup
- Excavation and grading
- Formwork setup and stripping
- Gravel base installation and compaction
- Concrete placement, screeding, and finishing
- Working around rebar and equipment
- Long days during pours when required

Positions

General Labourer ($25-$29)

Pay is based on experience, and increases are available for skilled or experienced workers.

- Construction or concrete experience helpful but not required
- Willing to learn formwork and finishing
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs

Concrete Finisher / Experience Labourer ($30-38)

Pay is based on experience, and increases are available for skilled or experienced workers.

Concrete finishers are expected to help with general labour tasks as needed,



but are paid at a higher rate to reflect their experience and specialized skills.

An experienced labourer is a reliable, skilled crew member who can handle both general labour and concrete-related tasks with minimal supervision. They are familiar with construction site workflows, understand basic formwork and concrete placement, and can assist with prep and finishing tasks efficiently. This role bridges the gap between general labourers and concrete finishers.

- Experience placing and finishing concrete
- Comfortable with edging, broom finishes, screeding
- Formwork and base prep experience is an asset

Requirements

- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a crew
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to take direction and work efficiently
- Steel-toe boots required
- Valid driver’s license is a strong asset

This position is not suitable for someone seeking light-duty, short-term, or guaranteed year-round work.
