The Materials Handler plays a key role in supporting efficient hydrovac truck production by ensuring materials, components, and supplies are accurately received, organized, staged, and delivered to the appropriate work areas when needed. Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the smooth flow of materials throughout the facility, this position contributes directly to production efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction. Success in this role requires a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, reliability, and adherence to established processes while fostering positive working relationships and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibility Areas

What You'll Do:

- Picks and assembles materials and parts for specific Job Orders and delivers them to the assembly process
- Issues materials to the appropriate job, labels large components and ensures they are delivered to production




- Returns surplus materials to storage areaAdministrative Functions:
- Records parts issued to jobs and material returns to maintain accurate internal record-keeping for both job-costing and inventory systems
- Operates various equipment which may include hand truck, forklift, or other materials movement equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods
- Projects / Other Assignments:
- Assists in purchasing as assigned
- Performs cycle counts and assists in the inventory process
- Works on related projects or initiatives as assigned

What You Bring:

- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
- Related materials management experience in a warehouse setting
- Inventory control
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
