Responsibilities
- Remove and install tires on different vehicle makes and models using hand tools and power tools
- Inspect tires for damage, wear, and proper tread depth to ensure safety standards are met
- Balance tires accurately to promote smooth vehicle operation and customer satisfaction
- Use heavy lifting techniques to handle tires safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and properly store tools and equipment after use
- Assist customers with basic inquiries related to tire maintenance or replacement services
- Support the team with general vehicle maintenance tasks as needed, including basic automotive repairs
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in tire installation, balancing, and basic vehicle maintenance
- Experience using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tire irons; familiarity with power tools is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout shifts
- Basic understanding of automotive repair processes and maintenance procedures
- Willingness to learn new skills related to tire services and automotive care
