The Chance

Do you have a passion for delivering exceptional care and helping seniors live their best lives? As a Health and Wellness Supervisor at Chartwell, you will lead our care team in providing high-quality, resident-focused services that enhance well-being and quality of life. You will ensure our residents receive the personalized support they deserve, while creating a warm, safe, and welcoming environment.

What You’ll Do

- Oversee and deliver high-quality nursing care using the full nursing process, ensuring individual resident needs are met
- Monitor resident well-being, involve families in care decisions, and adjust priorities to address changing needs
- Lead, supervise, and support Nurses and Guest Attendants, providing guidance, training, and delegation
- Promote wellness programs, health education, and a safe, supportive environment.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, pharmacies, and external care providers
- Manage documentation, care plans, medication administration, and compliance with Chartwell policies and regulations





What You’ll Bring

- Minimum of two years’ relevant experience in nursing or a related leadership role
- Registered Practical Nurse (RPN/LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the provincial College of Nurses
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to prioritize and adjust to changing needs
- Self-directed, accountable, and committed to professional growth
- Valid Driver’s License, or reliable means of transportation

Additional Requirements

- Ability to respond to emergency situations effectively
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and maintain up-to-date professional competence
- Comfort using AI and other digital platform systems and tools to support daily work
- Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
