Doorcraft Garage Door is looking for a motivated, dependable, and mechanically inclined Garage Door Technician to join our growing team.

Whether you already have experience in the overhead door industry or are looking for an prospect to learn a new trade, we are interested in hearing from you! Industry experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person and provide the support and tools needed to succeed.

As a Garage Door Technician, you will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, installing, servicing, and repairing overhead doors, garage door openers, and related equipment. No two days are exactly alike, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, troubleshooting problems, and seeing the results of their work.

What You'll Be Doing

- Installing, repairing, and servicing residential and commercial overhead doors and garage door openers.
- Performing routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting.
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and finding effective solutions.
- Using hand and power tools to complete installations and repairs.
- Measuring, assembling, and installing door systems and components.
- Providing friendly, professional service and communicating with customers.
- Completing job documentation and service reports.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.




- Following company safety procedures and established work practices.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys learning, and understands the importance of providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have:

- A mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn a new trade.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Dependability, good time management, and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- A valid Class 5 New Brunswick driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- The ability to work at heights and safely lift up to 75 lbs.
- A commitment to workplace safety.
- The ability to successfully complete a criminal background check.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and able to provide proof of eligibility to work upon request.

Additional certifications and experience are considered assets, but are not required:

- Previous garage door, construction, mechanical, or maintenance experience.
- Scissor Lift certification.
- Fall Arrest certification.
- WHMIS certification.

Pay: $20.00-$31.00 per hour
