Initial Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour

Position Summary

Maritime House Metals is seeking a motivated, safety-conscious, and dependable Ion Exchange Operator to join our rhenium production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring ion exchange equipment used in the recovery and refining of rhenium from process solutions.

This position involves hands-on operation of industrial equipment, handling chemical solutions, monitoring process performance, collecting samples, and maintaining accurate production records. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented industrial environment.

Previous experience in ion exchange, chemical processing, hydrometallurgy, or industrial operations is an asset but not necessarily required. Training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Ion Exchange Operations

- Operate and monitor ion exchange columns,



pumps, tanks, valves, and associated process equipment.
- Perform loading, washing, stripping, and regeneration cycles in accordance with established operating procedures.
- Monitor process conditions, including flow rates, solution concentrations, tank levels, and operating parameters.
- Transfer process solutions between tanks and equipment according to production requirements.
- Assist with the recovery, purification, and processing of rhenium-bearing solutions.
- Identify and report process deviations, equipment malfunctions, and operating issues.
- Follow established procedures to maximize recovery, maintain product quality, and minimize process losses.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
