Overview

The Line Cook prepares and cooks meals in a restaurant kitchen, supporting smooth food service through careful preparation, consistent cooking, and attention to food safety. This hands-on role helps the kitchen team serve meals that meet customer expectations.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and complete meal preparation according to established recipes and kitchen procedures.
- Cook dishes to order, coordinate timing across items, and maintain an organized, clean work area.
- Handle food safely, follow food safety practices, and store ingredients appropriately.
- Support serving and food service by communicating with colleagues about orders, timing, and preparation needs.

Qualifications

Required: Practical food preparation, cooking,



and food handling capabilities, with attention to food safety, cleanliness, and accurate order execution. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, kitchen, or broader food industry experience, along with familiarity with meal preparation and serving. Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
