A well-established Edmonton-based industrial/manufacturing company is seeking an Accounting Administrator to join its team. Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable
Prepare and process customer invoices
Generate monthly customer invoice summaries
Apply customer payments and process bank deposits
Manage collections and follow up on outstanding accounts
Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate customer records
Accounts Payable
Match, code, and process vendor invoices
Process employee expense reports and mileage claims
Reconcile corporate credit card statements and receipts
Prepare and process cheque runs and electronic payments
Process supplier deposits and maintain accurate vendor records
Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies
Administrative Support
Perform data entry and maintain accounting records
Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail
Maintain electronic and physical filing systems
Coordinate and host virtual team meetings
Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Support ad hoc accounting and administrative projects as required
Qualifications
1-3+ years of accounting experience
Experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Strong data entry and organizational skills
Experience with collections and customer service
Working knowledge of Canadian accounting practices
Accounting diploma or related education considered an asset
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
Excellent communication skills,
both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Experience
Manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or service-based environments

Multi-currency transactions (CAD/USD)
