Femme is looking for a welcoming, qualified and experienced Physiotherapist (also certified Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist) at our female-focused, comprehensive care clinic in North Toronto (Avenue Rd & Lawrence Ave). This is a part-time commitment with the opportunity to increase hours as patient demand increases.

The ideal candidate is/has:

- A graduate of a recognized university Physiotherapy degree program
- In good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO)
- Postgraduate courses in pelvic health training offered by Pelvic Health Solutions or similar accredited providers and authorization from the CPO to provide these services (Levels 1-3)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written) and organization skills
- Interested in collaborating with and referring to other medical professionals within the clinic’s interdisciplinary team to facilitate holistic patient care
- Comfort contributing to social media (physical presence not required) and being present at company events.

Responsibilities:

- Create an exceptional experience for each patient
- Perform clinical assessments and implement treatment plans for clients
- Provide ongoing evaluation of client progress
- Communicate to appropriate referral sources including the clinic’s internal integrative team

Must be Comfortable and have experience with:

- Internal and external pelvic floor assessments




- Treatment of incontinence (ex. stress, post prostatectomy, urge/frequent), dyssynergia, pelvic pain (acute and chronic), vulvodynia/vestibulodynia, coccydynia, prenatal/postnatal care, diastasis recti, chronic nonbacterial prostatitis, etc.
- Manipulating soft tissue, trigger point release, prescribing and reviewing urinary diaries, behavioural education
- Using treatment tools such as the TENS machine and dilators
- Creating and executing proper treatment plans and show continuing efforts in retaining patients

Compensation: 60% split (Approx. $120 per hour)

Hours: Minimum of 16 hours per week during your choice of the following: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday.

Pay: $100.00-$144.00 per hour
