Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to set a positive tone for their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while providing explicit receipts
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to meet sanitation and food safety regulations




- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift

Requirements

- Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is advantageous but not mandatory
