Machine Operator - Brampton, ON

Avery is looking for a machine operator to run a Grooving Machine. This type of machine cuts or rolls a precise, narrow channel or "dent" into materials like stainless steel pipes.

Pay: $21.00 per hour, plus shift premium; temp-to-perm

Hours: Nights (10:00pm – 6:30am); Sunday to Thursday

Job Duties:

- Setup and operate a Stainless-Steel Grooving Machine.
- Select proper raw materials required for production.
- Complete production paperwork.
- Perform quality checks and record data.
- Roll-groove pipes and fittings to desired specifications.
- Package and label finished products.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements:

- Minimum one year experience operating a Grooving Machine or similar manual machine is required.
- Previous experience using metalworking machinery is an asset.
- Solid knowledge of general machining practices.




- Proficiency with hand and power tools, including hand grinders.
- Ability to use measuring tools such as pi tapes, verniers and calipers.
- Ability to read company drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of ISO processes.
- Desire to learn current skills.
- Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
