Piece Fabric Co. is hiring a Fabric Cutter to join our small, hardworking team!

We're an online fabric and quilting shop based in Grande Prairie, Alberta, shipping beautiful fabrics and quilt kits to customers across Canada and internationally.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with their hands. Accuracy and efficiency are important in this role, as you'll be helping us prepare customer orders and quilt kits with care.

Responsibilities

- Accurately measure and cut fabric to fulfill customer orders
- Cut, prepare, and assemble quilt kits
- Follow detailed cutting instructions and fabric requirements
- Assist with inventory management and organization
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized cutting and work area
- Help with other warehouse and order fulfillment tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong basic math skills, including working confidently with fractions and measurements
- Valuable organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Dependable, reliable,



and able to follow detailed instructions
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience cutting fabric using a rotary cutter
- Previous experience with sewing, quilting, or fabric cutting
- Familiarity with quilting cottons, fabric measurements, and cutting techniques

Physical Requirements

- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable performing repetitive measuring and cutting tasks

Hours & Compensation

- 30–37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, with scheduled hours between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
- $17–$19 per hour, depending on experience
