Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Machinist Apprentice to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in machining and drilling components.
Responsibilities:
- Perform lathe operations according to drawings and specifications.
- Utilize various lathe, drill press, band saw & milling machine equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret drawings.
- Inspect completed components for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Experience:
- Proficient in reading and interpretation of machine drawings.
- Ability to accurately measure and cut materials.
-CNC experience an asset.
We offer competitive pay based on experience and skills. This is a full time position with opportunities for overtime.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
