As a Software Architect, you will support an enterprise retail technology client on its Platform Engineering team. You will work with six software engineers, engineers, and project management across solution design and implementation. Your work spans Lucene or Elasticsearch, backend development, databases, and CI/CD delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop detailed roadmaps for systems, projects, and applications
- Present solution advantages and tradeoffs to project leadership
- Lead architecture reviews and governance activities
- Create logical,



conceptual, and integration architecture diagrams
- Coordinate recovery, root cause analysis, and preventative measures

Requirements:

- Eight or more years of relevant technical experience
- Experience with Lucene or Elasticsearch implementations
- Backend development knowledge in Java, Go, and Python
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Terraform, Jenkins, Splunk, APM, and Git
