Our client a luxury gift and accessory boutique retailer is seeking to hire a Seasonal Sales Support person.

The assignment will be welcoming and hosting clients for the Client Advisor that will be ready to help them, gift wrapping, stock replenishment, light cleaning and organizing wait time. You will not be selling. you will be on their feet for the duration of you shift and must be able to lift 50lbs.

The ideal candidate is someone who has 2+ years of experience in retail, preferably in luxury, but not required. Looking for candidates with a warm, customer-centric personality and takes direction well. Candidates should also have open availability to work especially during the holidays, Boxing Day, Christmas, etc.).

Hours: Sunday to Friday 11am-7pm & Saturday 10am-8pm. Hour can be split with another employee
Holiday Hours: Holiday hours will potentially be extend, TBD
Duration: Monday, November 23rd through Saturday Dec 26th

Attire: Must be business professional. If not all black or navy, they should wear a crisp (steamed/ironed) white or black button down shirt with dress pants/skirt (below the knees) with a blazer and belt. Polished dress shoes (loafers, ballet flats, no sneakers/heels or logos). Minimal jewelry. If they wear a watch it can only be Montblanc (no Apple watch or other brands). No extravagant nails in length or color. Should be in neutral tones, light pink. No bright designs. Fragrances subtle. Facial hair/beard must be neat. Hair can be pulled back in a low ponytail. Overview
Reporting to the Boutique Manager, the objective of this role if to achieve individual sales objectives; developing and servicing the customer.

Primary responsibilities

- Support sales team in achieving sales objectives.
- Capture client information; consistently adding information to further promote boutique relationships and sales
- Possess strong product knowledge of the various collections
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Develop a working knowledge of simple pen repair and after sales service techniques.
- Maintain the aesthetic quality of the store.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in retail sales; jewelry or high-end luxury product sales is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Customer Service needs and customer priorities. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and gain their trust and respect.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and computer skills are needed.
- Robust attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Requirements

- Standing on the sales floor for 90% of the workday
- Reaching to access product stored within cabinets or on shelves
- Bending to access product stored within cabinets
- Occasional need to use a ladder to reach product
- Unpacking and/or lifting of large boxes that contain product

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
