Job Description

Boundary Traffic Control is growing! We are hiring experienced Traffic Control Persons (TCPs) and Lane Closure Technicians (LCTs) to join our team.

We provide traffic management services for all types of projects across the Lower Mainland.

Qualifactions

- Clear English communication skills, with the ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively on site.
- Valid BC Traffic Control Person (TCP) certification.
- Reliable transportation to assigned job sites (if TCP).
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license is an asset (if TCP), required and a clean abstract (If LCT).
- Clear communication with public, clients and coworkers.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Availability for flexible, on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

- Direct traffic using stop/slow paddles and explicit hand signals.
- Direct and control vehicular and pedestrian traffic around construction zones using proper signaling techniques.
- Monitor traffic conditions and adjust control methods as needed.
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices such as cones, barriers, signs, and flagging equipment.




- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members, site supervisors, and the public to promote safety and efficiency.
- Maintain a safe, professional, and organized work environment.

Schedule

Shifts may include 8-, 10-, or 12-hour days, evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime, depending on project requirements.

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
