Job Overview

The General Labour: Restaurant role supports day-to-day food handling, packaging, and sanitation tasks in a production or service environment. You’ll follow established food safety practices, keep work areas orderly, and help the team maintain a steady, reliable workflow.

Duties

- Package and handle food products carefully, following instructions and food safety procedures.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, tools, and equipment to support hygienic operations.
- Assist with food processing and manufacturing tasks, using basic math to count, measure, or check items.
- Support equipment-related tasks using practical mechanical knowledge; operate a forklift when trained and authorized.

Experience

Required: Practical ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures, handle packaging tasks, use basic math, and work carefully around equipment. Mechanical knowledge supports routine tasks and safe, orderly work.

Preferred: Experience in the food industry, food processing, or manufacturing is helpful, as is familiarity with forklift operation. A dependable, team-focused approach helps you adapt to changing tasks and contribute to consistent daily operations.

Pay: $17.95-$20.00 per hour
